Create your own one of a kind bandana with the use of real, fresh flowers. In this class you will learn the process of botanical dyeing and how to print your own garments with flowers and plant material. Each student will receive a 22x22 cotton bandana, a variation of flowers and plants to print with, a scarf slide made by brass botanica and a small pamphlet highlighting the basics of plant dye to experiment with at home!
About Brass Botanica:
Stephanie Wandtke of Brass Botanica is a botanical based artist in Denver, Co. She creates one of kind floral accessories and goods with flowers from her garden and foraged fungi. Self-taught, she has been working with natural dyes including: flowers, plants, kitchen scraps and fungi for several years. She is passionate about all things flowers and their various meanings, magic and uses.
All materials will be included plus bevs :)
All classes are held at the ReRoot Studio which is located in RINO (this is not our brick and mortar location but it's nearby!), address and more info will be disclosed in a separate email one day prior to the class. Parking is available at this location.
