This fun species has a special place in our hearts. The texture of the leaves reminds us of a forest floor covered in moss, feathery and soft. While most plants require lots of humidity and moisture, we find that this plant is rather tolerating of a little neglect and could get a little dry in between waterings. The way it grows tall new fronds is sure to stand out in any plant collection.
-In order to thrive, this plant needs bright filtered light. No constant direct sun but a little morning or evening sun is okay.
-The pot type really makes a difference in how often this plant would need water. When the top 2" of soil gets dry, water.
-This plant can be prone to mealy bug in dry conditions, although not always the case. A neem oil treatment is sufficient.
