Tillandsia aka Air Plants!
Xerographica are our favorite Tillandsia species as their structure reminds us of a beautiful flower. These guys are a little larger than palm size which makes them about 10 years old, woah!
Tillandsia Care Tips:
-No potting soil needed! These guys are epiphytes and do not need to be planted in soil. You can display them however you'd like; sitting on a shelf, in a glass bowl, on your bedside table... the options are limitless!
-Xerographica need to be in medium light. An east or west window is ideal, although it does not need to go in the windowsill.
-Xerographica need to be watered 1-2 times a week by fully soaking upside down in a dish of water (or sink) for 10-15 minutes. Misting is not sufficient, you MUST soak your air plant in our dry climate.
